Rosebud County Planning & Grants

Rosebud County Planning & Grants is a department of county government that oversees the development of land and other resources within Rosebud County. The office staff administers the Montana Subdivision and Platting Act, Rosebud County Subdivision Regulation, Rosebud County Flood Plain Regulation, and assists in governmental entities and non-profit groups with project funding administration. Assistance with development issues is available to the City of Forsyth and the City of Colstrip. Planning assistance is also available to unincorporated communities and rural areas within Rosebud County

The planning Staff assists the Rosebud PLanning Board with subdivision review, growth policy and land and resource development issues. This Board is a City-County PLanning Board with membership from Rosebud County, City of Forsyth and the City of Colstrip.
